We would like to inform you that Val Di Compare is fully harmonized with the special protocols of health content, according to which the tourist enterprises must operate in the framework of taking measures against the coronavirus COVID-19, as defined by sub-no. 1881 / 29.5.2020 Joint Ministerial Decision of the Ministers of Finance - Health - Tourism (Government Gazette 2084 B '/ 29-5-2020) and all our staff has received the necessary training to comply with health protocols.
In our effort to respond to the new data of the time, we ask for your understanding and observance on your part, of the measures to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 coronavirus.
Personal hygiene measures and Personal Protective Equipment.
Management takes measures to implement good personal hygiene practices (both by employees and third parties) in the workplace and oversees their continued implementation.
The general hygiene rules based on the COVID-19 protocol that the accommodation follows are the following:
Staff

Employees must follow good personal and respiratory hygiene practices:

  • The staff of the accommodation is trained in the observance of the protocol and uses with continuous adequacy of the stocks, all the means of Personal Protection with thermometry every morning in the context of individual responsibility.

Room Service
  • The cleaning staff uses a surgical mask, gloves and a disposable waterproof robe.
  • After removing the PPE, it is necessary to thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water and dispose of them in a closed bin.
  • Frequent cleaning of the room during the stay (avoid contact of cleaning staff with a possible case and further transmission).
  • Linen is changed every 3 days.
  • Thorough cleaning - disinfection of the room and bathroom surfaces in question and very good ventilation during the hours between stays.
  • All hard surfaces, floors, chairs, knobs are cleaned and disinfected.
  • The used fabrics, bed linen and towels are placed in closed, labeled bags or sacks, in order to be transported to the laundry areas, where they are washed at at least 70oC.
  • Disposable equipment is treated as potentially contaminating material and disposed of in special bags. Use 0.1% sodium hypochlorite after cleaning with neutral detergent. For surfaces that are likely to be damaged by the use of sodium hypochlorite, it is necessary to use ethanol at a concentration of 70% after cleaning with a neutral detergent. Enhancement of sanitary services in all public areas and in particular in "high risk" items (eg knobs).
  • Liquid antiseptics are placed in each room for use inside the room. There is a dispenser with antiseptic liquid for daily use in the room.
  • Special disposable cover for TV-AirCondition remote controls, after disinfection.
  • After removing the protective equipment, the staff takes care of its proper disposal and the thorough hand washing with soap and water.
Reception
  • Contactless Check In / Check Out
  • Extension of check-out and check-in duration between stays (check out until 11.00 am and check in from 3.00 pm). This change in the time interval between
    each check in and check out is mandatory to ensure that between different
    customer room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected as well as that followed
    adequate natural ventilation of the space.
  • For the purposes of public health protection, the management / administration keeps an accommodation file and an event book of the staff members and all persons who stayed in the accommodation - name, nationality, date of arrival and departure, contact details (address, telephone, e-mail ) for the purpose of communicating with close contacts of any COVID-19 case, which may be identified a posteriori.
  • Avoid crowding at check-in / check-out - keep distances.
  • Disinfection of key cards - placing them in a special container for disinfection.
  • Where required, Personal Protective Equipment are available: mask, antiseptic and disposable gloves and thermometer.
  • Providing useful information for health providers, public and private hospitals, hospitals, pharmacies, etc. in the area.
  • Informing visitors about the accommodation policy and the measures it has taken to deal with any incidents.
  • In the reception desk and in all rooms there is an antiseptic for use by the customer.
  • The prescribed procedures are followed in accordance with the instructions of EODY, for the management of a suspicious case COVID-19.
  • Cooperation with a doctor, who acts according to the instructions of EODY for the control of COVID-19.
  • There is discreet monitoring by Customer Management with symptoms for management.
    Possibility of electronic contactless payment of accommodation expenses through e-banking (IBAN), the electronic sending of bills, invoices and receipts.
  • Non-residents are not allowed to enter the rooms.
    Provision of brochures on basic health instructions.

Suspicious Case Management Plan COVID-19
  • The person in charge of the accommodation communicates directly with the collaborating doctor to evaluate the incident, a COVID-19 test is performed and if it is positive, the EODY is immediately informed about the case and instructions for dealing with it are provided.
  • In case of suspicion, it is recommended to stay in his room with the door of the room closed.
  • Do not enter the patient's room unless there is a good reason.
  • In a patient who shows symptoms of a respiratory infection (cough, sneezing, runny nose), a simple surgical mask and tissues are given immediately.
